PORT OF SELJE – PORT INFORMATION

Port of Selje is an ISPS-compliant port with a sheltered anchorage well suited for expedition and small to mid-sized cruise vessels. The port offers calm surroundings, favourable weather conditions and short distances between anchorage, tender landing points and shore excursions.

The anchorage is located close to shore, providing efficient tender operations and easy access to Selje village, Selja Island and surrounding excursion areas. The combination of safety, accessibility and scenic surroundings makes Selje an attractive and flexible port of call.

ANCHORAGE

The designated anchorage is located outside Seljevågen, centrally positioned between Selje village and Selja Island. The area offers good shelter from prevailing weather and sea conditions, with suitable depths for cruise vessels and favourable seabed conditions for anchoring.

Tender operations are straightforward, with short transfer to Seljevågen and excursion departure points. The anchorage is clearly defined and well suited for expedition-style operations, enabling flexible shore programmes and smooth logistics. Passenger vessel is available in port for tender operations.
